Heidi Klum puts on a brave face to celebrate tenth season of Project Runway - as Seal holidays with mystery brunette

According to the cast, no one expected the show to last, but tonight Heidi Klum celebrated the start of season 10 of reality show Project Runway.
Wearing a low-cut little black dress and plenty of diamonds, the 39-year-old looked happy and confident as she posed on the catwalk.
Along with co-host Tim Gunn, the German supermodel was attending the Project Runway Make it Work interactive runway installation on the High Line in Manhattan, New York City.

'The first few years, I didn't think it would last, but by season three or four, I did,' producer, host and judge Heidi recently admitted to Zap2it.

To celebrate its tenth season, the High Line has been temporarily transformed into a virtual runway with jumbo digital screens installed along a portion of the Chelsea Market passage.
The installation will feature interactive digital images of Heidi and Tim, along with Michael Kors, Nina Garcia, as photographers 'react in real time as park visitors strut their stuff while walking along the elevated park.'

'The first year I thought we would be this independent phenomenon,' designer and judge Kors said.

'I didn't think we would have more seasons than I Love Lucy.'
'I never expected it would go to season two,' judge Gunn added. 'This is really surreal.'
Judge Nina Garcia, a Marie Claire fashion director also said: 'What I think is wonderful about this show and what sets it apart is I feel like you see the process of what the designers go through.

'It touches into the soul of the designers.'

Heidi, who separated from her husband of seven years, Seal, earlier this year, recently said she is satisfied with her life now as a single woman.
'I think everyone should work on their dreams. I try to. I look into the future, concentrate on my family and I have to say that I'm happy,' she said. 'There are worse things in life than a separation.'

The British singer meanwhile has been spotted cruising around Sardinia with a mystery brunette - who looks to be half his age.
The reality TV competition show returns on Lifetime this Thursday with 90-minute episodes filmed on location in New York and the opening challenge taking place in Times Square.

The Make it Work Moments installation opens today and runs through Thursday.
