She said: 'I think about my parents - that's why we want something relatively intimate - my mum and dad aren't flash people at all.
'I just want my family and friends to have a relaxed and fun day. The idea of having lots of pictures taken really scares me, to be honest. We just want to have a day where we don't need to think about anything.
'We want to have a bit of a laugh all day long, have nice food and maybe a little tipple. That's my plan.'
The 33-year-old presenter added that while she can't wait to tie the knot with her 34-year-old fiancé, the pair won't be rushing in to having children.

She said: 'We've got lots of things to think about before we even consider that. We aren't in a complete hurry to be starting a family.'
Christine's interview with Now magazine came as the Dancing On Ice presenter was pictured on holiday in Las Vegas over the weekend.
The couple looked entirely smitten with one another as they kissed and cuddled at every opportunity during their Sin City break.
At one point, Chelsea footballer Frank struggled to clutch his iced drink as he also attempted to give his fiancée Christine a lingering smooch while the pair cooled off in between their sunbathing with a dip in the pool.
