Over the past few months, it seems
Miley Cyrus has taken part in something of a disappearing act as she
shows off an increasingly shrinking frame.
But now her Pilates instructor has spoken out to say there is nothing to worry about when it comes to the 19-year-old’s health.
The starlet has been attending Mari Winsor’s Los Angeles classes almost every day and the pair have been working together for four months now.
Mari told People magazine: ‘I think people need to chill out. She's healthy and she feels good, that's the main thing.’
The fitness guru claims that Miley was never hoping to lose weight and is instead only aiming to tone her petite figure.
She said: ‘She's smart about her body. She wanted to sculpt her body, that's all.’
As well as attending Mari’s classes regularly, Miley has been following a gluten-free diet to help achieve her lean look.
The sessions of circuit Pilates involve reformer and mat work as well as lots of stretching.
Mari says Miley is determined at her classes and ‘works hard’, adding: ‘When this girl comes in, she is on fire. She's focused.’
And Mari claims the newly engaged star is delighted with the results of all of that hard work.
She explained: ‘She loves her abs, of course! She's young and she's got a beautiful body.’
It’s not just exercises to help her achieve a toned physique that the instructor encourages the youngster to get stuck into.
She said: ‘What we focus on with Miley is posture. That was my main concern when she first came to me.
‘I wanted to get her shoulders down and get her to relax her upper body. If you notice, her posture is a lot better.’
